Product Availability:
Effective September 30, 2023 Dynamics SL 2018 will no longer be available for purchase by new customers after this date. However, existing customers with an active Enhancement Plan (EP) can continue acquiring additional licenses after this date.
Support Milestones:
January 9, 2024: Mainstream support for Dynamics SL 2018 will end.
January 14, 2025: Extended support for Dynamics SL 2015 will conclude.
July 11, 2028: Extended support for Dynamics SL 2018 will end.
Pricing Changes:
October 1, 2024: Regional conversion factors for local prices outside the United States, resulting in a 20% increase which will affect existing customers purchasing additional users or modules in Latin America and the Caribbean.
October 3, 2024: Annual rates for Enhancement Plans (EP) and Advantage Plans (AP) will rise by 1 point for renewals and new sales of on-premises perpetual Dynamics SL licenses.
While Microsoft will continue providing security updates and hotfixes, these changes signify a strategic shift toward cloud-based solutions, aligning with the industry's digital transformation journey.
