Dynamics GP - Upcoming Changes in Prices and Support

We wanted to bring your attention to some critical updates regarding Microsoft Dynamics GP that will impact your business operations and budgeting in the coming years. Please review the details below and take necessary actions to stay ahead of the curve.

Price Increase: Brace for an 18% price increase across all Microsoft Dynamics GP software products (users and modules) effective October 1, 2024. We strongly recommend acting now and purchasing any additional users or modules you may need to secure the current, more affordable pricing.

Plan Price Hike: On October 3, 2024, prices for the Enhancement Plan (EP) and Advantage Plan (AP) will rise by one point for on-premises Microsoft Dynamics GP deployments.

License Sales Ending: Starting April 2025, Microsoft will stop selling perpetual Microsoft Dynamics GP licenses to new customers. Existing customers will have limited availability. New customers can still purchase Dynamics GP, but only through a subscription contract.

Support Timelines:

  • Extended support for Microsoft Dynamics GP 2015 R2 ends in April 2025.

  • All sales of new on-premises and subscription Microsoft Dynamics GP cease in April 2026. MICROSOSFT WILL NO LONGER SELL DYNAMICS GP TO NEW CLIENTS OR SITES.  Start planning your migration to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.

  • Extended support for Microsoft Dynamics GP 2016 R2 concludes in July 2026.

  • Microsoft Dynamics GP 2018 R2 extended support ends in April 2028. Don't wait - start planning your migration today.
